Did ya read it right? Yes, Nicky has made it to 10 pounds! Like we said on the last post, he had five vaccines and then had an RSV shot yesterday. Nicholas developed a bit of an upper respiratory infection since the shot were given. Maybe his little immune system was not working up to par, so we loaded him up and took him to the doctor yesterday afternoon. Last night and all of today was a bit hairy. Boy, was he cranky, fussy, mad, upset, and restless. Of course, mom and dad were cranky, fussy, mad, upset, and restless...haha. Around 4pm today, he opened his peepers and began smiling again. This was it little bugger that I am used to having around the house. His oxygen requirement was up yesterday and most of today, but he was able to return to his normal level late this evening. All in a day's work, right? We know that Nicholas will have those ups and downs, but remember we had three GREAT weeks, and now we can rest until next month's flu vaccine. Please continue to pray for Nicholas. He is getting huge! (not too big, just right) Pray for strength for his parents because we feel the stress when he is not feeling well.
