Again, Nicholas has had a great day. He continues to grow and develop more and more each day.

Well as you see, Nicholas made it to 9lbs as of Monday. He has also grown length wise since coming home from the hospital.
Nicholas survived his first trip to the doctor's office in the RAIN storm yesterday. It was a cold nasty rain, and we had to vallet park so we could get Nicholas out in comfort.
We spent two hours in Dr. Schochet's office (lung doctor). We don't know why, but the time seemed to fly by. He was pleased that Nicholas was gaining weight and that he had a really good week. He decided that if Nicholas does not get sick within the next two weeks to four weeks, then Nicholas would be ready to start sprinting to wein off the vent. He will start really, really slow.
Otherwise, Nicholas has been doing fantastic. Please continue to pray for his lungs and to keep him from sickness over the next few weeks.
