Well, Nicholas is still in the hospital. His antibiotic made his tummy very upset, and Nicholas became dehydrated on Monday. The doctors had to stop his feeds, administer fluids, and move him back to the PICU.
At this rate, we are going to be in the hospital a few more days. Nicholas is growing tired and rather angered at the nurses and doctors. They seem to disturb most of his good snoozes during the day. We understand that they are doing their jobs, but it is becoming very tiring for Nicholas and his family.
We hope to be released by the weekend or early next week. It seems as though we have been in the hospital forever. I know Nicky feels exhausted and can't wait to sleep in his own bed.
