Nicholas continues to do really well at home. He is still on low oxygen (for him), and his lungs are improving greatly. Of course, it is day to day. It doesn't mean that his lungs will be perfect next week, but today, he is doing really good.

We continue to work with his SP and PT weekly. He is enjoying lemon swabs that the SP brings, and we are working on some additional sign language with him. The therapist says that it is important to use the sign language because it allows Nicholas to start comprehending thought and language since he cannot verbally communicate with the trach. We are trying our best to have some form of communication between Nicholas and ourselves.

Alex and I are so proud of the accomplishments that he has made in the past several months while at home. He is such a different baby.

Thank you for the continued prayers and support.

Alex, Terah, and Nicky
