Hi All,
Guess it is time to update the news. I have added some news pictures over the last several days. Please take a look.
Nicholas just amazes me daily. He sprints on his oxygen approximately 14-15 hours per day. We hope to increase his time every couple of days as tolerated. He seems to do very well.
We are still eating really slowly. He tried some applesauce, peaches, formula, and cereal this week. Don't think that he cares for the peaches, but is doing really well despite occasional gagging. His teeth are really coming in and they are very sharp. He knows how to bite, so sticking one's fingers in his mouth to explore the territory is a no-no around here.
We visited Dr. Schochet's office today for his RSV shot. They were so proud to see him on just oxygen.
We also visited Mei Mei and Grandpa Hart on Sunday evening. It was so nice to get out of the house for a bit even though it was only 30 minutes.
Alex is traveling back and forth to Chicago again, but he will be staffed in Dallas for an unknown duration in a few weeks. That will be GREAT.
I am still around. I am grateful to have the opportunity to stay home with Nicky right now. I do miss teaching, but I can't imagine not being with him during these critical moments. I have been biking quite a bit lately with the weather so nice. It has been quite fun.
