Well,
We are home again, home again. Nicholas was released from Children's this afternoon. We had hopes of coming home yesterday but his carbon dioxide was a little higher than the day before; therefore, the doctor wanted to make sure he was ok today before the release.
He is still being treated for a bacterial infection, but the doctors still feel that it is not pneumonia.
Nicholas is now receiving 28cal instead of 24cal feedings. Watch out...Nicky should be getting chunky.
Other than that, Nicholas survived his trip home from the hospital. We actually ran into the rainbow parade in downtown Dallas. Somehow, all of Harry Hines was blocked off with floats and such. We had to back track and take I-35 instead. What a nightmare!!
