Hello all!

Nicholas has had a fantastic day. He received his new pulse/ox, and the doctor made a few changes to his vent. Therefore, Nicholas has been one happy camper all day.

He was blessed today by many guests. Some of our dear friends the Starnes came to visit as well as Grandma and Grandpa. I think that Grandma kissed all his sweet kisses away!

Otherwise, Nicholas played all day with his nurse Amber and took lots of good naps. Of course everytime I came in to visit, Nicholas was sound asleep.

We ask that you continue to pray for Nicky's lungs and development. He is such a sweet child. God has given him some big tasks to accomplish! One task was to make his mommy and daddy very proud and blessed. We can't help to give him drive-by kisses as we pass his room. We love him so very much. What a gift from God! Alex and I can't believe that God has trusted us to care for such a beautiful baby. We know in our hearts that God promised Nicholas a strong mom and dad, and we can't express the blessings that we have received from Nicholas these past six months.

I have posted some of my favorite pictures of the baby and Alex. Alex is an awesome father. I truly believe Nicholas is teaching him the finer gifts in life. His smiles seeing his son laugh and play warm my heart. Alex is truly a devoted, loving father and husband.
