Sorry to take so long to update. Alex has been traveling back and forth to Austin, and he wasn't able to come home except for a quick Saturday night stay over and then hopped a plane back to Austin this morning.

Nicholas had been doing very well at CPAP until he caught a cold on Tuesday of this week. He ran a fever and seemed pretty out of it; however, Grandma Jenkins came over to help out. Nicholas just melted in her arms and everything seemed to be perfect. I guess Grannies just have that ability.

He had a few doses of Tobi and perked right up. Tobi is quite the antibiotic. We bag-it in just like his other breathing treatments.

As of today, he is back to his normal self. We are pleased that he did not have to go to the hospital this round. We should be able to go back to CPAP once we finish his dose of Tobi.

Otherwise, Nicholas continues to do well at his therapies. We think that he is getting ready to cut some teeth because he is coming very close to biting our fingers off. We are careful not to put our fingers near his mouth, but we have to do his mouth exercises and therapy which involves us putting on gloves and feeling around in his mouth.

He, too, improves in his physical therapy. His legs are much stronger now, and he enjoys pushing off, kicking, and pounding his legs into his bed and kick in play daily. His Aunt Stacie gave him a kick in play for Christmas, and Nicholas can't stop kicking and playing with the toy. His also enjoys his new Leap Frog "Tad" that sings to him as well as his new animal sounds toys and baby duck that giggles at him. He is very happy to have new toys from all his Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents and Great Grandparents. Nicholas took the Christmas Haul...as Alex and I say. We didn't have to buy him a thing...haha. We invested in rechargeable batteries...that is the way to GO !!

Please continue to stop by the website and leave a message. I always enjoy reading new messages. We cherish your thoughts and prayers.
