Hello all!

Sorry not to update for a bit. Nicholas is doing fantastic. His parent, however, are suffering from a bad sinus infection. Instead of Nicholas needing antibiotics, both mom and dad have had to take a dose. We are both wearing masks, washing tons, and wearing gloves when we work with Nicholas during the day.

Nicholas had a very busy Christmas and Christmas Eve. We had ten people to Christmas Eve dinner, and some traveled from Honduras, Austin, and Marquette, Michigan. Of course, Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins came from around the corner, and Grandpa and Grandma Hart visted on Christmas Day. Nicholas received a sack full of goodies from every family member. Alex and I pulled out the big bucks and bought him rechargeable batteries, which is a very needed item in this household!

Nicholas began his ween-down process off the vent on Friday. We are CPAPing him for different time blocks during the day...we hope Nicholas continues to work and come off the vent.

Please continue to pray for healing. We also pray for our nursing situation. We are in need of nurses to work nights with Nicholas.
