Nicholas continues to do really well. We have been back and forth to Austin several times in the past two months to visit Alex. Hopefully, he will be staffed on a project closer to home soon.

Alex fixed the guestbook, so please visit the site and leave Nicholas a message.

We hope that all had a great Thanksgiving. Nicholas spent the holiday at with my Dad's side of the family. We all had a great time eatting lots of Turkey and Ham.

Unlike last Thanksgiving, we didn't have to spend the night in the hospital !!!! YEA!!!

On the whole, Nicholas continues to perk along. He no longer needs his O2 during the day, and really, I could take him off at night too...but I prefer to know that he is saturating well while I sleep. I suppose it is selfish to not want to get up during the night with the pulseox beeping!!

His eatting is still very slow. Nicholas seems to do well for a while, and then he decides not to eat the next week. His physical therapy is going fairly well. He continues to gain strength, but he will not put his feet on the ground. If forced, he will place them on the ground, but he chooses not to purposely participate at times. Go figure...he is a subborn one. Wonder where he got that from. (shhh mostly likely both of us)

I will be spending a week cruising around the Carribean and Gulf in two weeks. Alex's mom and I plan on leaving the 14th for a week long cruise out of Galveston. Plan on stopping in Key West, the Grand Caymans, and Cozumel. I have cruised before but Emily has not. Alex will be spending a week snow skiing in Jan with his brother. Separate vactions...one in the snow and the other at the beach. Nicholas will have a vacation from mom and dad...just separate weeks. We are not able to travel with him as of yet...therefore, separate vacations.

Please check out the new pictures. There are some really cute ones !
