Wow, what a week we have had.

On Monday, I left the water running in the upstairs sink, and syringe floated into the overflow safety clogging it up. The water ran for over an hour. When I discovered it was running I also discovered that it was raining in my downstairs living room. We have had various contractors coming to our house to clean up the mess, and as a result we are staying at Terah's mom's house.

On Tuesday, the dogs escaped. We found Heidi at the pound, but Lexi was nowhere to be found. We didn't find Lexi until Thursday.

Yesterday Nicholas had a doctor's appointment with the Kidney doctor. This was a follow up visit. Nicholas has level 3 reflux in his good kidney which means that some of his urine refluxes back into his Kidney. Level 3 is halfway between 1 and 5 which means it is not bad enough to do surgury, but also could present him with a lot of bladder infections. He is on a maintenance dose of bactrum to keep him from getting an infection in his good kidney.

Nick's lungs continue to improve. Today we are likely going to do 20 hours on CPAP (See link on left hand side of page) In addition he is now up to 30 minutes a day breathing completely on his own with no machines and just a small bit of oxygen. Dr. Shochet is very pleased with Nick's progress. He thinks that Nick could be breathing on his own 24 hours a day withen just a couple of months.

Terah and I hope to be able to dedicate him sometime in June. Please be in prayer for this. It will be so nice to be able to bring him to church for all to see what a wonderfull miracle he is.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Love,
Alex & Terah
